Protea Hotel by Marriott Ikeja Select

The manager attended to all my requests. Due to my long stay, she also offered me free dinner tickets for 3 nights. All the staff members were very professional and helpful. I also like the location of the hotel.

Excellent location with a mall nearby and not too far from the local and international airports. Good facilities and breakfast spread boasts of a wide variety of continental and local dishes. We always enjoy their peppersoup. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are always clean and decent. Overall, it is always a pleasant experience staying here.

It was nice and calm, staff are very cooperative and welling to help and provide your needs, clean. However, breakfast varieties could be better, service in restaurant could be more faster and effective. Otherwise all were very good. Thanks for all staff, with special appreciation to Margaret, with her smile and rounding everywhere to make sure that every one is satisfied and needs are accomplished, she was really of good help with smiley face always, trust me she will facilitate your life and make it rosy.

The breakfast was good enough with a lot of varieties The laundry was prompt and polite. The staff are generally courteous and professional in their approach to customers. And finally the noise level in the hotel rooms was quite normal .

Where do I start with Protea? From the moment you walk through the doors you are made to feel welcome. The staff at the front desk were attentive and professional. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed; clean, modern, good WiFi connection and a good desk so that I could work. The restaurant staff are great. I really looked forward to having my breakfast and dinner here. The chef is superb. Although the breakfast is buffet which i normally despise, the choice is good and the food is prepared with love. I don't eat meat and still had enough options to sustain me. There is also an egg station and pancakes if you like. Whenever there was something I needed, the chef would have the kitchen prepare it and bring it to me. They really go above and beyond here. It was so refreshing to stay in a hotel where they care about their guests. I had stayed in the Radisson previously both on the island and in Ikeja and it doesn't compare in service or quality of food. Dinner time was also a treat. They are flexible with the menu and would make things just how I wanted. The food was so delicious. Honestly I ordered the same dish on numerous occasions the staff had to persuade me to try something different!! I was not disappointed. Overall this is a great hotel with a central location. It's right across the road from City Mall and next to the passport office. It's also very close to the airport. If you're in ikeja you must stay here.
